πŸ’›Rarity

Let's aim for the rarest Duk of them all

To measure the value of a Duk, we use standard rarity metrics to calculate the token ranks and rarity scores. For the total of 10,000 Duks, the Duk rarity tier list is present as follows:

Although there are 10,000 Duk NFTs, only 10 are true Master Duks, who are stronger than any other Duks.

Different percentages were used for traits and Duk rarity tiers, to deliver a distribution that was both fun and tradeable. The distribution of trait rarity combines to make a total Duk rarity.

Rarity Score

The rarity scores of these attributes are calculated based on the same method as Rarity Tools. Each attribute is filled with a trait, which has a rarity score equal to the inverse of its percentage frequency across the entire set.

  • Example: If a trait appears one time across the set of 3000 (30% frequency percentage) then its rarity score is 1/30% = 3.333... . Summing the rarity score for each of the 6 traits across every attribute gives the total Duk rarity score.

Note: This type of standardization (percentage) is only required if the number of traits across the slots is not even. If you have the same number of slots per attribute (e.g 10 glasses, 10 bases, 10 necklaces etc) then this step is unnecessary.
